The ASEAN Quality Assurance Framework (AQAF) is one of the output of ASEAN Quality Assurance Network (AQAN) supported by EU-SHARE program to ensure the quality assurance (QA) program conducted by a QA agency in ASEAN region fulfil the determined criteria.

AQAF as an indigenously developed framework for quality assurance that will be able to function as a reference point to each national system.

The ASEAN Quality Assurance Framework (AQAF) Guidelines is important because it is the backbone of quality assurance in the ASEAN region. In 2021 IAAHEH received an AWARD from EU-SHARE program to be reviewed by AQAF and was conducted in 2022.
