Jakarta, July 4, 2024 - IAAHEH, the only Health Higher Education Self-Accreditation Institution in Indonesia, is proud to present its strategic step towards global accreditation standards by inaugurating the IAAHEH International Accreditation Institute for Medical Sciences. On July 4, 2024, at the Mecure Simatupang Hotel Jakarta, by inviting several stakeholders in the world of Education and Health, namely the Director General of Diktiristek Kemendikbudristek, Director General of Nakes Kemenkes, Health Collegium, Health Professional Organizations, Association of Health Education Institutions, Assessors, Higher Health Study Programs, and Students.
The main objectives of this international accreditation inauguration are to introduce international accreditation standards, provide a platform for medical education institutions to obtain international accreditation, build cooperation with international and regional accreditation agencies, and increase IAAHEH's global visibility.
IAAHEH has a strong reputation for improving health education standards at the national level. Based on this success, IAAHEH is ready to expand its services internationally. Significant progress has been made in this regard, including recognition from several international agencies such as the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) and the Asia Pacific Quality Register (APQR).
"We are also fighting for this non-medicine so that dentists, nurses, and other graduates also get a mutual recognition agreement (MRA), our quality is the same as ASEAN countries and abroad," said Prof. Usman Chatib Warsa.
In the meantime, IAAHEH has also prepared international accreditation instruments, trained international assessors, and adjusted the accreditation mechanism to meet global standards.
The launch of this special international accreditation institution in the field of medicine is the first step of IAAHEH to facilitate the Medical Study Program towards a level of quality at a global level which hopefully will then be followed by study programs in other health fields, by implementing the best educational quality assurance.
We are also fighting for non-medicine so that dentists, nurses, and other graduates also get a mutual recognition agreement (MRA), our quality is the same as in ASEAN countries and abroad.
